Welcome to my website!

I am an artist living in Southern Vermont. I graduated from the Maryland Institute College of Art back in ‘09, and then pretty quickly stopped making art for a long time after that.

A couple years ago, my wife and I taught a watercolor class on an island very close to our hearts, and it rekindled my love for painting. I realized that I had been so focused on making “good” art that it had stopped being fun. Now I remember that the process is the most important, and should be enjoyable. If it ends up being a “good” painting at the end of that, then I’ve just got lucky!
